JJ: Welcome to Inside the Porn. I've been looking forward to this interview for so long.
How did you get into the sex industry?
Cherry: It’s funny as I never saw myself being in the sex industry looking back. I attended college, top of my class and received my associates in small business. One day I saw an ad online for nude dancing in my local town and decided to give it a try. Walking in I was nervous, never doing nothing such as this before. Once I hit the stage, the money started coming in easily, I started earning lots of money quickly. So one day I was doing home assignments on my laptop, when an ad for Dennis Hof’s Bunny Ranch popped up looking for working girls. After doing some research on the bunny ranch and reading well known articles of success for many of the working girls there, I wanted the same thing for my future and decided to apply. Whether it was a gimmick or not, I decided to chance it. Three days later I received an email saying they had an opening for me at the ranch. I was very excited and scared all at the same time. Being from Baltimore, MD, I have never traveled nor been to the west coast. Arriving in Nevada to the Bunny Ranch was amazing. After a few tours I decided to move cross country and become a local courtesan. After a year at Bunny Ranch, I decided to explore the other brothels owned by Dennis, touring at the Newest Kit Kat Ranch and now residing at the Famous Love Ranch North.
JJ: Wow that's an amazing journey. You've taken a big gamble but it seems to have paid off.
What's the best thing about the industry?
Cherry: The sex industry definitely has it’s perks, everyday you look forward to going to work! I get to look my best and meet wonderful people. YOU tend to make your work day and what it entails, you are your own boss. I have made a lot of really good friends whom I work with everyday as well. The money is great and who doesn’t love sex and helping others reach their ultimate fantasies.
JJ: I can see the passion in you when you talk about you work. It's great to see.
What's the worst thing about the industry?
Cherry: The sex industry has it’s down falls too. A lot of times through the winter months walk-ins may be slower than normal due to weather and holidays. It is good to put money aside for those months and definitely have your returning clients lined up.
JJ: That's a very sensible way to work
What's the funniest thing to happen to you whilst working?
Cherry: We have a ton of fun at work! The girls and I definitely keep ourselves occupied, whether at the bar or hanging out in the parlor. We are just like a family and love to prank each other, tell scary stories, chase each other around with strap-ons, etc. A lot of times we include our clients who are there too! Tell me one thing about yourself that I wouldn't know just by looking at you?

Cherry: I love challenges! Nothing makes you more determined in life. My greatest challenge I have to say was successfully graduating college, while working and being a full time mom.

Cherry: I have a lot of great, supportive fans who do a lot of wonderful things for me! Trying to think of one that stands out is so hard as they are all so nice and thoughtful. The one I am going to choose is because its unique and took some thought. A gentlemen had of candy hearts personalized with my name and parties that I delivered to me. It was the sweetest gift ever!

What's one bit of advice you'd give to someone wanting to get into the industry?
Cherry: If wanting to come into the sex industry, make sure to have an open mind. Never expect success over night, if it happens great… but it does take hard work and dedication. You can have a lot of fun as well, know what you want out of the industry. Focus on who you want to become and do it!!!!

What do you think you'll do if you leave the industry?
Cherry: If I ever intend to leave the industry I plan to teach english literature. What grade, I am unsure of yet. All I know is I want to help others learn and succeed. I love helping others and have the passion to teach.
JJ: Finalky, what's the weirdest rumour you've heard about yourself?
Cherry: The weirdest rumor I have ever heard about myself is that all of my sex toys are made of actual candy. Which as nice and tasty as that would be, unfortunately it would not be very sanitary.
