JJ: Hi Mexxi. Thanks for being with us on Inside the Porn.
How did you get into the industry?
Mexxi: Well, one day I was watching porn on YouPorn I think, and I just randomly saw a tab that said Live Sex, so I was like wtf and I clicked on it. Sure enough, it was just a bunch of live cams with all sorts of girls on there. I remember the first girl I ever looked at for a while, and I was like; wow! It was Ember Reigns. The girls seemed legit so I was like 'wait a minute, I can do this.' Since I've had long distance boyfriends and all, I was already pretty good at doing sexy time on Skype, so I thought, how hard can it be? So all I did was scroll down to the bottom of the page, which happened to be a white label for Streamate, and I clicked on the link with the info on how to become a model. At that point they were doing away with the whole studio way of doing it, so I was able to sign up to the site directly from Streamate's recruiting, which was cool. Then I just created my Twitter page and I spent a lot of crazy nights online. I still had a day job at that point for a while, but after about two months I quit my day job and did camming exclusively.
JJ: Well I can see why you're successful because you're absolutely stunning. It's great to see you take a chance on yourself.
What's the best thing about the industry?
Mexxi: For me, the best part about camming is definitely the super flexible schedule it allows. I work when I want, when I can, and I dont have to ask anyone's permission. The sky's the limit on how much money I want to make, it all depends how much time I want to spend online. I mean, dont get me wrong. It's a very taxing job physically and mentally and you need to find a balance so that it doesnt make you go crazy. But after 3 years of doing this, I've found a decent balance to where I can work smarter, not longer.
JJ: That's a very clever thing to do, it's just like any other business and you have to maximise your time. Obviously lots of brains with that beauty you have
What's the worst thing about the industry?
Mexxi: The porn industry as a whole is a very complex place. You have a lot of scummy-predatory people around you. People want you to do well, but they'll never want you to better than them. Sometimes I play the game because it gives you attention and visibility, and let's face it, this business is about selling yourself, selling your personality. Sometimes it feels like you are giving away a lot of yourself to people, but you just have to keep it in perspective and that it's cool that at least some people find you funny or interesting and that they're following along with the story you get to create.
JJ: You seem to have the perfect approach to the industry and it seems to be paying off for you.
What's the funniest thing to happen to you whilst working?
Mexxi: I've definitely had some extremely odd requests on cam, definitely things I would have never thought of on my own even though I have a very dirty mind. But I do remember one time doing cam-to-cam with a guy and like his mom walked in on him while he was jerking off in the bathroom. Or maybe it was his wife, but It was awesome. And a recent one was when a guy whose screename was 'jailbird' and when he turned on his cam he was straight up wearing a black and white stripped jumpsuit with a little black and white stripped hat AND he held up some prison bars made out of carton. I was like are you fucking serious. I couldn't tell if he was trolling or not! For real, yo!
JJ: I love that he was dressed in a prisoner outfit. That's commitment to the screen name haha.
What are you doing work wise at the moment and where can people find you online?
Mexxi: I was working on another site that was kind of newish but it crashed and burned, so I've recently been on mexxicanbeauty.cammodel.com more often. What's the best thing about sex?
Mexxi: I think sex is most enjoyed when you know the person who you are with is totally into you and diggin' everything you're doing. That goes both ways for men and women. Everyone deserves to feel wanted. To me, having sex with a person who does not understand the magnitude of what they have in front of them is just not worth it. (Which is why I have like NO sex)
JJ: Well if I was local to you I would come and show you the magnitude of what was in front of me and show you just how amazing I personally think you are haha.
What really turns you on?
Mexxi: Intelligent rich guys with big dicks and lots of stamina that love fat girls
JJ: Well I'm three of the four things but you'll have to guess which three haha.
My favourite question, what's your favourite film?
Mexxi: The little mermaid is my favourite for sure.

Where do you like to go on vacation?
Mexxi: I like to travel in style, so any place where I can be fabulous.
JJ: That's a great answer and totally made me want to just travel everywhere in style from now on.
Tell me one thing about yourself that I wouldn't know just by looking at you?
Mexxi: That I graduated with honors and I worked as a teacher for a long time, for kids and adults in companies. I'm also a certified translator and I specialize in medical translation and interpretation. Also, that I'm actually a very 'religious' person in the sense that I belive in God and constantly thank Him for how much he has blessed me.
Also that I am 100% Mexican, born in Mexico. Live in Mexico. Fuck yeah, Mexico. JJ: Well I guess Mexico creates some amazing people by the look of it. You're full of surprises.
What's been your biggest achievement in life or work?
Mexxi: Being a well rounded individual with important life skills and an assertive personality, but still able to check myself and question my decisions in order to become a better person every day.
JJ: That's a big achievement and something not many people could do, so you should be very proud of yourself. You're a great example to people.
What's the biggest thing you've had to overcome?
Mexxi: Even though I just turned 30, I'm still overcoming my childhood every day, understanding ''life is just life'', you can't think it had anything to do with you. You just got caught up, so you have to be a better person, so you can be in a position to help others and have a free life that you can actually enjoy without shame or guilt. (I didn't have an abusive childhood or anything, I was just kind of a lonely kid)
JJ: Well I think you make of life what you want. You can either get lost in your past or find your future and too many people get lost in the past.
What's the best thing a fan has ever done for you?
Mexxi: Best thing a fan has ever done for you? One fan from Paris wrote my name with a huge heart on a padlock and put it on that famous bridge in Paris. Recently after that, they changed the rules and people couldn't put locks on the bridge anymore because of the weight, so his picture meant a lot to me.
JJ: That's an amazing thing to have done for you. I put a lock on that very same bridge myself a few years ago. It's an amazing place.
Finally, what do you think you'll do once you leave the industry?
Mexxi: I would love to produce my own stuff for sure, so keep an eye out guys!
JJ: Oh I'm sure guys will be keeping their eyes open for everything to do with you if they have any sense.
